The government has extended the restrictions on the export of gasoline, diesel fuel, and a number of other petroleum products from Russia for an additional five months, until July 31, 2026. The relevant decree was published on the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers on January 31.
The decision is aimed at maintaining stability in the Russian fuel market, as explained by the government press service. The ban does not apply to shipments under intergovernmental agreements and humanitarian supplies.
